I've had to create scenes, mostly recreations of real-world locations, for a number of different projects. They vary in scope and targeted platform, from Unity scenes designed for the Oculus Quest, to larger and more detailed areas for PC-based projects. They include using DTED elevation and shape file data to recreate accurate terrains in Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3), as well on a smaller scale in Unity. I also have experience in Unreal level design in Unreal, including a recreation of Obi-Wan/Ben Kenobi's hut on Tatooine.
